We believe that bicycles offer a unique combination of efficiency, health bennefits, environmental friendliness, technological sophistication, simple beauty and user benefits.  Bicycles, simply, make everyone who uses them healthier and happier while leaving the world unchanged or improved.  We opened Lakeside Bicycles in order to get people on bicycles and to help people involved in bicycling to get as much out of the sport as they can. 

We do this by offering expert consultation, Outstanding customer service, a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff, the finest selection of carefully considered bicycles, parts, clothing and accessories found anywhere and by not standing still. 

We work constantly to improve every aspect of our business.  We listen to our customers.  We encourage cross training and conversation among our staff and management.  We take advantage of every opportunity the industry offers to better ourselves including manufacturer's seminars, on-line and written training and technical documents, trips to trade shows in Europe and the United States, and by keeping our passion intact and our eyes focused on our successes and our failures and by listening. 

We are active members of the Lake Oswego and Portland community.  The performance of our cycling team is judged entirely on participation in public outreach.  Team members gave away hundreds of helmets and perform hundreds of bicycle safety checks every year.  We are active supporters of the Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation department and of local schools and foundations to whom we have made hundred's of in-kind donations of bicycles, accessories and service.
