In the current instance Great Googly Moogly is a late 1990s, early 2000's frame from master builder Dario Pegoretti. Built with Dedacciai EOM 16.5 tubing custom drawn to Dario's specifications, the Great Googly Moogly (Great Googoolee Moogoolee) is the less sophisticated predecessor of the super beefy Big Leg Emma introduced by Dario in 2005.
When we heard that the importer had found this frame in their warehouse we jumped at the chance to add it to our collection as a place holder for the Big Leg Emma we have on order.
Not only can you own this frame today instead of waiting up to three years for a Big Leg Emma, but because it is an unclaimed, damaged frame repaired and repainted by Dario, we are able to offer it for the price of the repair, $2500 rather than the $4950 base price for a Big Leg Emma.
This is a beautiful 55cm frame with Dario's signature, weirdly meticulous TIG welds. It is painted in black with purple highlights and includes frame, fork, Campagnolo cable stops, a Chris King headset and full two year warranty. Front derailleur clamp size is 35.0 and seat post diameter is 31.0 which size is available from Thomson, we have a zero setback Elite in stock.
